Maybe you might be interested in the how-to
pictures I took when building spoke wheels inside a bottle. Do with
them whatever you like.
This is "the tool" that will be fixed temporarily
inside the bottle. It is just a stick with a vertical post glued on
it. The copper tube (bearing) fits over the post and the wafer hub
fits over both. The purpose of the bearing is to shield the post
from the glue applied to the wheel.
There it is with the outer foam rubber mat rim with
4 spokes that are cut to fit around the bearing and over the lower
hub wafer. The mat and spokes can be folded to fit through the
bottleneck and they will flatten out again inside the bottle. Once
it is glued in place, it is a simple matter of bisecting angle
between spokes until you have 16 spokes in place. The wheel to the
right has been lifted off the tool so the next wheel construction
can begin.
When you get to this point the rest is simple.
Notice that the "tool" has been removed from the base inside the
bottle.
Wagon bed with water barrel on the far
side.
Coffee grinder and pot on Chuckwagon's
tailgate.
And a use for the 'practice' wheel I built outside
the bottle.
